I find it fascinating how Velcro they are when we don’t feel good. Get well soon!

Awww, what a good girl! Hope she gets many treats, though I’m sure she loves you regardless of payment. She also seems very passionate about being a dogtor! I hope you feel better soon, and give the doggo much love for me!

My dog of 14 years used to do this. I regularly used to get very sick every 6-8 months from when she was about 8 years old, she would come and curl up on my bed with me and would follow me to the bathroom whilst I was vomiting and keep watch on me, lick my arm and then guide me back to my bed and snuggle right up to me.She wouldn’t do this if I told her to normally and she was petrified of the bathroom because her previous owner who we rescued her from used water as a punishment and the bath was scary and she would rarely go upstairs. But if I was sick she would be upstairs and in the bathroom in a moment. She did it so much the puppy we rescued began doing the same thing when I was sick. As she got older and slower, and her joints started to hurt she couldn’t get onto my bed so the puppy, now fully grown, took over bed duty and my best friend would make a bed on my floor near my head and lick my hand to make sure I was okay. She still came to the bathroom to guard me and look after me, until it was difficult for her to keep getting up but she kept going to make sure I was okay. She isn’t with us anymore but new dog has taken over the role of nurse, down to waking me up by licking me just to check I’m still here.I hope your dog nurse is looking after you. Give them a big cuddle and lots of love from me, looks like you’ve got a good friend there!

I'd love to paypal or Zelle you some $$ for soup delivery or whatever you need. DM me if you'd like. I absolutely know what it feels like to be alone and miserable when I'm sick and don't have anyone I can turn to to bring me food and be there to make sure I don't just die on my couch.

I have frequent nightmares. When I do, I start groaning in my sleep and my dog ALWAYS wakes me up and nuzzles her head into me for comfort. I love her so much and idk what I would do without her. I'm glad you have her as support OP, she wants to comfort her favourite human as much as she possibly can

I was hungover on the couch today, and my furry little nuisance came and gave me all the purrs and loves I could stand. It was the best.

"Pretending to be comfy" really got me. We're so lucky to have dogs.

Currently sitting at home with our pup recovering from a nasty bout of viral meningitis. It’s amazing how responsive they are to their humans doing poorly. He is constantly checking in on me when I am needing to lay on the floor from dizzy spells and stays by my side. So grateful for amazing pups ❤️❤️Hope you feel better soon! So glad you had your pup nurse to keep you company through the rough times

I’m sick and my pup is just mad that he got less park time than usual. He’s sulking under the bed. Your dog rules.

This is why when my cat decides not to be a little dick and sleeps on me. I go into panic mode thinking I'm dying.

Sorry you’re not feeling well. But it’s wonderful when our pets know when we aren’t well, and want to comfort us.

Dogs can detect when you're sick. When my father had cancer our little wiener dog would lay on top of the spot that hurt him.

OP why don't you take off those extra pillows so you have more room?

I am sorry you feel so sick! I hope your recovery is going okay especially with such a friend by your side. I got my dog from California off a farm when she was so small and rescued her from being a breeding dog. She is the biggest baby but if I am sick or scared or sad she is suddenly there. So forceful and so there it’s just awesome to be a part of a pack. Even if the pack is the two of you. ❤️

I’m laying here right now recovering from kidney surgery and my 16 year old tuxedo cat won’t leave my side ... like touching me... pretty much non-stop... if I get up to go to the bathroom, he follows me... if I get something to eat or drink, same... I’m being fully nursed and it’s hella nice ...
